Comments that further debate are welcome on Critical Encounters. However, this is not a free speech forum but a space for reflective debate. Passionate, even combative arguments are fine but we urge commentators not to indulge in name-calling and in invectives. For this reason, our comments are moderated and we reserve the right not to approve comments we feel violate this minimum level of civility. While we do recognize that sometimes there may be need for maintaining online anonymity, we do not appreciate its use to indulge in name-calling. Off-topic comments, that is, comments that have no relation to the post or the discussion are also likely to be disallowed.
